This project was a blast to bring to life—from designing cartoon versions of Bebe Rexha and Snoop Dogg, to matching the energy of each beat with the vibrancy of the colors and a retro animation style that could tell the song’s story.
CHARACTER DESIGN
Does this music video remind you of a popular TV series from the 1960s? The mid-century style of Hanna-Barbera, particularly “The Jetsons” (1962), served as a significant inspiration for this music video. By taking Bebe Rexha to a whole new planet, we were able to explore the graphic style of the characters and their outfits.
