LAUNCHING AT THE BOGOTÁ BOOK FAIR - FILBo 2025
Inspired by the timeless fables of Colombian poet and writer Rafael Pombo and with a fresh and irreverent twist, we are thrilled to present Venturia's first leap into the literary world!
We created POMBÁSTICO with both excitement and nostalgia, drawing inspiration from the fables that shaped our childhood. Our goal was to create a contemporary story that reimagines Pombo’s universe and its witty characters through the bold, visual richness of the comic format. This journey of traveling back in time and reimagining childhood classics is at the heart of what Venturia is all about, and so far it's been a great adventure!

CONCEPT ART FOR THE WORLD OF POMBÁSTICO
When envisioning the city where Pombástico would take place, we designed it with playful nods to each character and their animal nature. RinRín the frog, for instance, lives with his family in a floating house resting atop a giant water lily, while Mirringa’s mansion is a glamorous, oversized cat tree fit for a feline fashionista.
